Vital Stats - Two Year Milestone
Had my two-year check up at the doctor yesterday. For those stats-lovers out there, I thought I'd share some details: Length: 35" (65th percentile) Weight: 32 lb 9 oz (92nd percentile) They no longer do head circumference now that I'm two. And I had to get weighed and measured on the baby scales, after stripping down to my diaper. A little humiliating. I was hoping that, now that I'm two, I'd get to get weighed and measured on the big kid scale, while standing up. Alas, no. They did promise me that I'll get to do that next time. Let's see.... Are there any other "vitals" that I can share with you now that I'm two? Favorite Books: Eight Silly Monkeys, and Where the Wild Things Are. Of course, these change almost daily. In the last couple of days, I've been insisting on reading about the Wild Things on my own. I say, "Mommy, stop!" when she tries to read to me. Favorite Toys: Sticker books, Daddy's tools (especially in unsanctioned use), and the newest is the "lock box" that I got from the Glasses (see my blog from August 21st). Favorite Song: "We Are the Dinosaurs" by Laurie Berkner. I didn't really care about this song much until I saw Hannah and Phoebe's performance number of it. Now I can't hear it enough. At the breakfast table, while I'm getting my diaper changed, ... wherever and whenever. "We are the dinosaurs, marching, marching...." |
