Como-Harriet Streetcar Ride
Drew the the girls went with us to ride the Como-Harriet Streetcar today. Daddy has been meaning
to take me for months, and we finally got the chance to go today. It's pretty cool. It's a really
old streetcar (circa late 1920s) that runs on a small piece of the original tracks between Lake
Harriet and Lake Calhoun. The operator told Mommy that at one point, the streetcars in the Twin
Cities covered more than 520 miles of track. I don't know exactly how far that is, but it sounds
like a lot of track. I mean, compare that to my Thomas train track. I've measured it and I know
it's "13." (Everything I measure comes up "13.")
After my nap we went to dinner and then took Uncle Drew and the girls the airport. I am going to
miss them a lot! We had a great time!
