Hannah, Phoebe, and Uncle Drew came to visit us! It's been so much fun having them here! Today we decided to do an art project: decorating shaker eggs. Hannah painted hers, while Phoebe and I chose to use markers. I was aiming for something along the lines of Jackson Pollock. Phoebe was shooting more for a Rothko. Hannah created an underwater scene that I say was worthy of a prize at the Minnesota State Fair, which is saying a lot, because it wasn't even on a stick!
I love doing art, because it usually means that I can get as dirty as I want, and Mommy doesn't care. She said that on this particular project I probably got more marker on my hands than ended up on the egg. Obviously, this was intentional. I guess she just doesn't understand fine art. I'll have to work with her on this.
