Solana Beach with Tyler
Today was really fun, and I felt like a true Southern Californian. We went to the beach with cousin Tyler, Aunt Marcie, and Uncle Devin. It was the first time I'd seen them since Christmas; both Tyler and me have changed a lot since then. Aunt Marcie had packed a great big lunch, Uncle Devin had loaded up their car with everything anyone could ever need for a fun beach day, and away we went.

You can see from the pictures that I liked playing in the sand. Even though I was really tired, I didn't want to miss a minute of the fun, so I didn't take a nap. Tyler curled up in Aunt Marcie's lap and slept for a few hours. Not me! I got to play in the sand, shoveling and making sand castles. Daddy taught me about the ocean, explaining the waves and the tide to me. I saw lots of seagulls, and wanted to pet them, but they didn't really like the idea, so they steered clear of me.
