St. Paul Saints Game
I got to go to a Saints game with Mommy, Daddy, and our friend Cherie today. It was quite a treat for me for many reasons, not the least of which was that we didn't get home until way past my bedtime. The Saints are a minor league baseball team that plays in our outdoor stadium in St. Paul near the fairgrounds. Their mascot is Muddona, the pig. I even got to meet her, though I was a little shy.

We sat in the family section in right field, which had its benefits and its drawbacks. The key benefits were that there was no smoking or drinking, and there was plenty of room. Another great advantage to the family section is that it was located right near a cool playground - with swings - that we got to take advantage of when I got tired of sitting and watching the game. The major drawback was that we were staring right into the sun for the first few innings, until it went down behind the third base side bleachers. Mommy said we were lucky that no one hit a long foul ball or homer down the right field line, because if they had, we'd never have been able to see it to make sure we didn't get hit.

We had a really fun time. I hope we'll go again.
