A Trip to Balboa Park, and a Visit to Tyler's
It was such a beautiful day today, we had to get outside. Mommy, Daddy, and I met up with Uncle Drew, Aunt Randie, and the cousins for some time in the park. In fact, it was almost too hot for me in my long sleeves and long overalls! You can see that I'm about to wilt as I ride the springy dinosaur with Hannah. But I rallied a bit while on the swings with Daddy pushing me. The wind in my hair felt so nice. After some time on the playground, we decided to take a walk where we could enjoy some shade! It was important not to get too wiped out, because we had important, fun plans for the evening. Even though the heat took a little out of us, we had regained some energy by eveningtime, just in time to go to Aunt Marcie, Uncle Devin, and Cousin Tyler's house for dinner and playtime. As an extra bonus, Nana Sharrie was there, too. Tyler showed me all of his toys. And Aunt Marcie let Mommy read some excellent books so we could all be enlightened about "The Gas We Pass" and how "Everyone Poops." On a completely unrelated topic, it was really great to see Nana. It had been a really long time, and I have grown so much between visits! I wish I could have the chance to show off for her more often. |
