My First Tylenol
Had a fever today, and felt yucky all day. Aside from an occasional burst of energy, most spent playing catch with Mommy or Daddy, I was a veritable lump the whole day. I took two naps - haven't done that in a long time - the second of which was over three hours long! When I wasn't napping, my favorite part of the day was snuggling up in Daddy's lap and having him read books to me. It's a good thing to do when you're not feeling well; I highly recommend it. It was just as well that I was sick today and didn't have much interest in playing too much. It snowed all day and a lot of the kids in the neighborhood were playing outside, but I don't have any snow boots yet, so it wouldn't have been too comfortable for me to be out in it anyway. Mommy did load me up into the backpack and go outside with me for a little while so I could watch the kids play and so I could experience the snowfall first hand. But that was a short trip, and that was OK with me. I just hope they find me snow boots soon, so I can enjoy the fluffy white stuff.

Back to the topic of my fever, Mommy thinks that the reason I was sick is due to the MMR shot I got last Friday. Dr. Daniels told us that about 10-20% of kids get a fever as a result of the shot, but that it's nothing to worry about. Mommy gave me liquid Tylenol in my midday milk, and that helped me feel a lot better. I think I'll sleep long and hard tonight, and then wake up in the morning feeling better. This being sick stuff wasn't too, too bad, but it's not something I want to do every day or anything. I've got playing to do.

By the way, the picture included is from Thanksgiving Dinner. I didn't have any pictures of my sick day, so I just put in another from yesterday. I don't recall exactly what Mommy was telling me when I gave her this look, but I'm guessing she was wanting me to do something that was not on my agenda.
