This afternoon the guys from Renewal by Andersen showed up to install new windows in the upstairs. I am pretty psyched about this, because it means that there is a chance that it will be warm enough in the upstairs to actually spend some time up there this winter. It also means that Daddy doesn't have to put shrinky dink plastic up.
Mommy and Daddy also learned something today as a result of the window guys' work. Daddy was putting me down for my nap right when the guys were getting started, and for some reason, the job required them to use a Sawsall. My folks were absolutely sure that I'd immediately wake up and that'd be it for my ability to sleep this afternoon. Possibly just to be contrary, I decided to sleep right through the fracass. Mom says she guesses that she doesn't have to worry about running the vaccuum while I'm sleeping anymore.
