This morning Mommy ran the Twin Cities 10 Mile race. Daddy and I were going to meet her at the finish line to see her cross, but I slept kind of late, and by the time we got there, she had already finished. But we caught up with her in the family meeting area at the state capitol, and we enjoyed the festivities a bit. Then we drove out to the marathon course to cheer for the runners. I don't remember it, but we all went to watch the Twin Cities Marathon last year, too. Mommy always likes to go, but this year was even more special for her, because she's training for her own marathon next month. When she does that race, Daddy and I will be there to watch her for sure. And given that it will probably take her at least four and a half hours to finish, I don't think there's any chance that I'll oversleep it.
