On my birthday, I went to the Zoo with Mommy, Daddy, Gramma, and Papa. And Mommy and Daddy signed us up as members. Today we made our first trip back since the birthday visit. It was really fun, and I hope we go back a lot more. The first place we went was to this really cool meercat exhibit. There were tunnels that kids could crawl around in. One of the tunnels even popped up right inside the enclosure where the animals were. I started to crawl into the tunnels, with Daddy inside encouraging me, but then some other really loud kids came through and I got a little timid. Perhaps next time.
Last time we came, I was barely walking around. I had to hold a finger, and it was really slow going. This time I was walking all over the place all by myself. Of course, sometimes I got a ride, which was OK with me. I would just as soon have walked, but I know that Mommy and Daddy wanted to make some sort of forward progress around the park, and I admit I do tend to walk a bit in circles. So sometimes I got carried.
