Visit to the Minnesota Children's Museum
Today my dad took me to the Minnesota Children's Museum for the first time (but forgot the camera so there are no pictures).  It was a lot of fun!  Our first stop was the special Jump to Japan display.  Dad thought it was a little disturbing that the major focus was on animation and things like Pokemon, but then he realized it IS for children.  I was a little cautious at first and just hung around in one area, but then I got more adventuresome and checked out the store (they had sushi and little porcelain cats that I was really interested in) and the tea room.  You could try on outfits for boys or girls, but I was more interested in the mirror and the tea pot.

Next we moved on to my favorite spot of the day, EarthWorld!  First I got to play in the water with some rubber fish and frogs and see the real fish swimming nearby.  Then I got to play in the beaver lodge. I was able to walk and crawl through and then go down the slide where Daddy was waiting for me.  I watched some other kids slide for a while, but then I got right back into it.

Out last adventure was the ant hill!  It is a really cool ant hill that was sized just right for kids.  I walked right into the tunnels and made Daddy follow me.  Of course I like a challenge so I decided to try and walk up the slide, but Daddy was able to help me up, then we got to slide down.  I'm glad we got the annual membership, because I am definitely coming back here.  We were only one one floor and we didn't even get into the Habitot!
