Today Grandpa and JC came to visit all the way from DC. They were in town for some appointments and were able to take some time to come visit for dinner. It would have been great just to see them, but to top it off, they brought a bunch of cool Halloween books! One was even called "Max's Halloween." My favorite, though, is the pop-up book with all the cool bugs. Mom and Dad have to keep reminding me to be gentle with the pages, but I just can't help myself sometimes - I have to grab the bugs and creepy crawly things that pop right up off the page. Anyway, it's fun to talk about the books, but the real treat was just to spend time and get to know each other a little bit. I showed off my walking and they were, of course, very proud.
