Playing with Dora the Explorer
I like to take advantage of the fact that our next door neighbors, the Swansons, are cool and have cool stuff. There is always something fun going on at their house. And even when they aren't anywhere in sight, they have often ever-so-thoughtfully left some fun toy out in the front yard. I'm sure they do this with me in mind. I often spy a walking toy lying out and I feel it is my obligation to go over and play with it. The other day, they left me a cool pink frisbee to play with. But today took the cake! Mrs. Swanson turned on the Dora sprinkler for Zoe to play in, but Zoe had bigger fish to fry, so I took it upon myself to play in the water. Didn't want Mrs. S. to feel bad that no one was playing in the sprinkler! I had a blast playing with the water. And I completely soaked myself, including my new Robeez, which I probably shouldn't even have been wearing outside in the first place. I played with Dora for at least 30 minutes, but it finally got to be a little chilly to be soaking wet as the sun was beginning to go down. Thanks Mrs. Swanson, for Dora and all the other fun you provide!
