Just a Normal Day at Home
Gramma and Papa left yesterday. I miss them already, but they'll be back for one day next week, so I don't have to get too sad yet. Meanwhile, for the first time since mid-July, life is "back to normal" on Richmond Curve. No house guests. No camping trips. Just a day in the life.... Of course, every day is a new adventure these days. In the morning, I made some popcorn w/ my new popper toy that I got for my birthday.

Another notable today is that I started saying the word "balloon." Granted, my pronunciation isn't quite perfect yet. But I very clearly point to my remaining leftover birthday balloon and say what sounds to Mom kind of like "Boo!" She knows what I mean, though. Mom let me hold it while I ate breakfast.

... and a Trip to the Park
In the evening, the three of us walked to the park at the end of our street and I got to do some swinging. This is one of my favorite ways to wind down after a long day of making popcorn, learning new words, or pretty much anything else.

What do you think of Mom wearing my hat? I think she's the "original flap happy."
