After RAGBRAI I was excited because Uncka Drew got to stay for a short
visit before heading back home. He was only here for a day and a half, but we got to do some
cool stuff. Actually, he even did some cool stuff without me, which I suppose was OK. Drew,
Gramma, and Mommy went to check out the Wild Rumpus bookstore. Based on the rave reviews they
came back spouting, I'm sure I'll get to go there someday in the not too distant future. The picture
below is of Uncka Drew using the kids' door at Wild Rumpus. They took some other pictures at the
Wild Rumpus, but I didn't want to see them (or show them), because I want it to be a surpise when I
get to go for myself for the first time.
On the way driving Drew to the airport,
we also went to Minnehaha Falls. I had wanted to show him how cool it was to have such a big
falls so close to home. Drew hiked down to a lookout point so he could get a good look at the falls,
but it was really hot, so Gramma and I stayed up higher, in the shade. I guess he took our picture
while he was down there. And the last picture below is in
front of my house with Drew, Mommy, and Daddy. I hope Uncka Drew comes back to visit again soon, and
brings Aunt Randie and my cousins as well!
