Max Blog - June 24-30, 2005

I've settled in to my relaxing vacation in San Diego now, though I'm not at all keen about letting Mom out of my sight. Many times she has tried to sneak off to go for a run or take a shower, and I have made it clear that I expected her to be right by my side. Gramma, Aunt Randie, Uncle Drew, Auntie Jennifer, Auntie Paige, ... everyone tried to keep me company. And I was happy to hang out with everyone usually - but only if Mom was right there. After all, Dad is half way around the world; the last thing I need is Mom going away as well.

I've included some pictures of the various activities of my vacation here. They are in chronological order. Sorry for the scrolling. I had a lot of days to cover.

June 24 - Talking to Daddy on the cell phone before he leaves for China later today.

June 25 - Playing with trains at Uncle Drew's.

June 26 - Cousins Hannah and Phoebe lent me some toys, including LaLa. Do you like my hair? The style is called 'day old sunscreen'.

June 27 - Gramma and Papa went for a bike ride around Lake Miramar. I went with Mom. We didn't ride on the bikes. We just went for a walk and a little picnic.

June 28 - This is the romper that Auntie Jennifer gave me.

June 29 - Even though we're at Chipotle, this is not Guacamole on my face, as Daddy wondered (and worried). It's spinach, of course.

June 30 - I'm now starting to warm up a bit. I played with Papa (and LaLa) for quite a while while Mom had some morning coffee in peace.
