Do you know how maple syrup is made? Well, after today I do. And I'd know how it tastes, too, if Mom and Dad had shared some of their breakfast with me. But alas, I had formula yet again.

Today we went to the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum for their annual Sugarbush Pancake Brunch and Maple Syrup Tours. Mom and Dad ate pancakes with maple syrup that was harvested and made right there at the arboretum. Then we walked around the grounds to see maple trees being tapped, and got to learn all sorts of stuff about syrup. When I'm old enough to talk, ask me about it.
