Today was a relaxing Sunday. It is still VERY cold outside (today's high temp was supposed to be about 4 degrees) so it was nice to stay mostly close to home. We did go out for my first trip to the Mall of America, though. Mom and Dad needed to exchange some Christmas gifts for correct sizes. It's a very big place. I got to ride in a cool glass elevator that looked out over the Camp Snoopy amusement park. Yep, that's right ... there's an amusement park, complete with roller coasters and everything, right there in the middle of the Mall! When I'm a bit older, I'm going to expect M&D to take me to Camp Snoopy a few times! It's a fun (and warm) place to go on a winter day.

So aside from the Mall trip, we just hung at home, like I said. In the morning, I did some reading (see pics below) and after we got home from the Mall, Dad made a fire for us to enjoy (see other pic below). While the picture makes it look like I might be sitting up on my own, Mom was actually propping me a little bit. When I feel like it, I can stay in a sitting position for short periods of time (two or three seconds) before tipping - usually left. A lot of the time, though, when I'm sitting I just suddenly decide to straighten out at the waist; if Mom or Dad isn't quick as a cat, my head will go crashing to the floor before they can break my fall. It's a fun game so far, because they always catch me. I like to test them.

Reading in the morning...
...and an evening by the fire.
