Apparantly it's a tradition in the Lettington family to take some sort of hike or walk on Christmas Eve. Mom said that it started as a way to get some of the people out of the house and to make the day go by more quickly. I was pleased to get to participate this year. Cousins Hannah and Phoebe, Uncle Drew and Aunt Randie, Mom, Dad, and Gramma joined me. It was a blustery but beautiful day and we went to Point Loma to the Cabrillo National Monument to experience the view and see the old, restored lighthouse there. I didn't get out of the stroller much, because it was VERY windy and cold and Mom and Dad didn't quite get it together enough to bring warm clothes for me.

After the hike, we all gathered at Uncle Drew and Aunt Randie's house in Mission Hills for the Christmas Eve festivities. I got tired before the party was over, so I got to sleep in Cousin Phoebe's bed until time to head back to Gramma and Papa's house. Do Mom and Dad appreciate how lucky they are that I am so flexible about where I sleep? I think they do, but I should make sure.
