Cool! It's the first snow of the year (and of my young life)! Mom and Dad took me for a Cougar ride, after having bundled me up in my spanking new snowsuit. They had to make sure it fit over my huge melon first -- it did, thank you very much. Actually, even though it is snowing today, it's not even as cold out as it has been other days that we've gone out in the Cougar, so I didn't really NEED the kind of warmth that a snowsuit provides. In addition, I'm all dry and protected in the Cougar, so I didn't need the water repellant qualities of the snowsuit. So why did they put me in it? Beats me. It was probably because it just seemed like I should be in a snowsuit for the first snow of my life. They're traditional like that. I'm guessing that much of the winter, I'll be all layered up inside my snowsuit. Today all I had on under there (besides my diaper, of course) was a onesie. Soft fleece lining! See pics of the snow event below.

The other notable event is that Mom and Dad put the Christmas tree up. Actually, we went yesterday to pick it out, and Dad put it up yesterday while I trying to sleep. There aren't any lights or ornaments yet, but I hear that's when it really gets to be beautiful. We're waiting to take pictures until it gets decorated. Maybe I'll help this evening, or maybe they'll be sneaky and decorate it after I go to sleep tonight. I'm kind of bummed that I seem to be sleeping through all the good stuff lately (like Thanksgiving dinner), but I get pretty cranky when I skip naps or stay up too late, so it's just one of those sacrifices that I have to make.
