Auntie Paige asked for me to update my blog, so I thought I would, even though
there's nothing particularly noteworthy going on. I've been out and about a bit lately, but nothing
too exciting.
Yesterday Mom and I went to visit our friends the Kennedys, and they had some toys and clothes for us to have - things that their kids had outgrown. One item that Mom found particularly amusing was a "magic bag" that Katrina's mom had made out of Cookie Monster fabric. No one could figure out why this fleece fabric with Cookie Monster would have the word "MUY" all over it. The pattern was essentially Cookie Monster's face, cookies, and the word "MUY." Then Mom figured out that it had been made inside out. On the inside, it said "YUM!" Mom laughed out loud. Today Mom and Dad took me shopping for a dining room table. I think it was very nice of them to get my opinion, seeing as how it'll be a long time before I actually eat at the table. We went to two places, and at the second place we had a nice snack. I had my usual - Lipil, while Mom and Dad had some Christmas cookies, and Dad had hot cocoa. One of these days I'll be asking for them to share some of those cookies, but for now I'm satisfied with the Lipil. In my ECFE class last week, one of the moms was talking about how her mother (the baby's grandmother) was babysitting for her, and she decided to give the five-month-old infant Cheez-Its. This was the kid's first solid food. Everyone thought that was pretty funny, but I was just intrigued. I'm not sure what Cheez-Its are, but they sound good ... and if all the grown-ups think that having them was such a funny (and bad) thing, then I'm even more interested. Perhaps Santa will bring me some Cheez-Its and I can try them at Christmastime! I've got a couple of pics to share from a couple of days ago when Mom had me on my playmat and was trying to get me to reach for toys. I was occasionally amused. |
