First, let's talk about naps. Mom and Dad have been trying to get me on a more regular nap schedule, with only a few small successes. Mostly, I freak out whenever I get put down in my crib during the day. Mom has gotten me to take my morning nap in my swing a few days now, but Dad thinks that I should nap in my crib. Today I fought them on the morning nap in the crib, but finally I went to sleep for about 45 minutes after Dad put me in the comfy, cozy blanket sleeper that Grandma Sharrie brought me when she visited last week. After a trip to Costco during which I slept much of the time, Mom and Dad were skeptical about the afternoon nap; they were even more skeptical when Dad put me in the crib and I began screaming my head off. But then Dad put me in the miracle blanket sleeper and I konked right out ... for two hours! They had to come wake me up, because they were worried that I'd sleep right through and then want to be up for the day at 3 am or something! Is the blanket sleeper really the magic bullet? I'll get back to you on this.

The other "notable" today was that Dad read me a story this evening. Usually by evening, I'm Mister Cranky Pants because I haven't gotten enough sleep during the day. But this evening I was actually fairly pleasant to be around! Dad read me "Go Dog Go!" I like the part when the one dog keeps asking the other dog "Do you like my hat?" and the dog keeps telling her, "No, I do not like your hat." That's funny! Anyway, below is a picture of Dad reading to me.
