Max Blog - October 31, 2004

First of all, let me just point out that occasionally, unavoidable accidents occur due to poor diaper construction, fit, or application. This said, I won't take time to explain more about why I am not wearing my cool Halloween sleeper in the pictures below. Sigh.

Dad left at noontime today for a week-long training in Redmond, WA, so Mom and I were on our own for Halloween. It was pretty fun. We didn't bother to go Trick or Treating, since I can't have the candy anyway, and goodness knows Mom and Dad don't need any more candy! We didn't have too many kids come to the door, but we did have more than last year. I guess that's either because I am a big draw, or because Mom and Dad have continued to meet more of the neighbors. Or perhaps both. Anyway, we had three Harry Potters come by. We also had a good number of princess / ballerina-ish kind of kids. I didn't bother to ask, and they didn't offer up explanations.

I'll put a couple of pictures here. The first, Mom took of us in the house. I have just started to hang out in the Bjorn facing out. This is more fun for me, but it was a little harder for Mom because she can't see my face. She finally figured out that she could look into a mirror to check me out, so occasionally throughout the night we'd wander into the bathroom so Mom could make sure I was OK. The second picture is of Mom and me on the front stoop w/ the pumpkins. Notice the Dad Pumpkin, the Mom Pumpkin, and the Max Pumpkin. Oh, and I suppose I'll put up a picture of just the pumpkins up close. I do love Halloween!
